Action Plan Regarding First Draft

From the feedback of my first draft of the opening to 'Who's There' our group have decided to re-film some shots and spend more time on editing to make sure we improve our final mark.

To film:
  • Re-film CU scene of GC giving GB newspaper article to avoid the scene being out of focus and the whole dialogue scene between GC and GB
  • Re-film all scenes of GC walking to the forest and back from the forest to avoid breaking the 180 degree rule
  • Re-film scene when GB is walking backwards in forest to him walking forwards then turning to walk backwards to avoid breaking any match on action
  • Film a new shot of the newspaper article with Ben in the background walking into the forest after he drops it
  • Film a new shot of masked killer from a low angle to emphasise his power
  • Add a new scene after the title of daughter of family who is moving to a house picking up cardboard box with the gas mask in (dialogue: Dad, I found this box in the attic, I'll bring it in)
To edit:
  • Heavy breathing sound effect coming from the Masked Killer to suggest even more why GB is scared
  • GB's last breaths as he is stabbed to add to the atmosphere
  • Add sound effects of twigs snapping to suggest why GB is scared
  • Add title '3 years later' just after the title
